Damage induced by hair styles 

There are various ways we can damage our hair, and inadvertently then, causing hair loss, breakage, and poor texture. Some hair styles may involve pulling and tugging, a lot in fact. Often, hairstyles can also result in receding hair lines that have you rushing to a dermatologist then.

Do not overbrush your hair

Give your hair nutrients

If your hair are vulnerable to begin with, then it is more likely that the hair styles will cause them much damage. One such nutrient is iron; lack of iron is known as iron-deficiency anemia. Iron helps in transport of oxygen, which is required for the cells to survive. 

Dearth of iron can lead to hair loss. So, make sure that your iron levels are sufficient. Women are more likely to suffer from iron deficiency, so if you are experiencing fatigue, dizziness, etc., then you should talk to your doctor about it.

Similarly, zinc is also required for to keep your hair and nails healthy. While a healthy, balanced diet can help you have the nutrients in adequate quantity, but you can also talk to your doctor about getting supplements as well. 

Make them lose

No one is asking you to forgo the braids and buns that you like, life otherwise would really become boring, but include the key component of making them lose. A light bend does not impose much on the hair strand. 

Also, when making braids, try to take thicker ones so that the individual strand does not have to take a lot of tension. 

Be vigilant
